Entry requirements for foreign students
Acceptance into our programme is based on the evaluation of your educational (and in certain cases your professional) background and diploma’s. The Nuffic (Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education) assesses foreign degrees and certificates in terms of the Dutch system and advises us on their acceptability. However, you will need to have completed your secondary education including Economics. Besides that you need to provide proof of English language proficiency (for example toefl 550/ielts 6.0).
If you do not meet these requirements, you may be accepted on the basis of the so-called 21+ test, or on a linkup programme for certain topics.
If your profile/curriculum contains no Economics, you are deficient for this course. You have to eliminate this deficiency before you can go to the second year.
An intake assessment provides an insight into mutual expectations. During this assessment we also look at whether you are entitled to certain topic dispensations based on prior education or competencies gained elsewhere. We look at what motivates you to start this education in the first place. Because it is a three-year education of very high intensity, this will be an important part of the intake assessment. This “selection at the gate” enables us to continue to guarantee the high quality of education it provides for all students.
